Randy has long had a vision of seeing flames dance. After retirement, he had the time and resources to start to realize his vision. He started with some campfire projects, including the Magic Poker you’ll see later. These generated a lot of insights into flames. He found

You can’t really make flames dance, but if you build a nice place where flames want to live they will come and dance for you.

Once it got too cold in January of 2024 he set about building the nicest place he could for flames to live and dance, and moved the flame project indoors. Shortly afterwards the project went on the road. As we showed it to friends and family it grew and morphed from a project demonstration into the Flame Show.

It’s still growing and morphing. Now as it goes out into the world, we can’t wait to see how flames dance for you!
