I commuted by bicycle year round the last ten years of my career. Over time I developed a clothing system that changed every 5°F. Wind chill was immaterial because the ride averaged 10mph with some long descents (& hills :). Took me a while to figure the gap between 65°F (shorts + SST) to 60°F (shorts + SST + LS).
Two Short-Sleeved Tee Shirts (2SST)
Dunno while but before that I never thought to put on a second SST if it was a little cool. Cuts the wind, not too warm, and as a bonus skeeters cannot bite through both.
Try this:
If it’s too hot to be too cool try two Ts.
